In legislation the Dutch East Indies, not overall use the term Indigenous Recht. There is some terminology that the intention is the same as the common law. These terms may be mentioned the following question:
GODS DIENTIGE Wetten, INSTELLINGEN EN GEBRUIKEN (Religious Regulations, institutions and habits). This term is used in Article 75 (3) Regeling Reglement (RR);
GODS DIENTIGE Wetten EN Oude HERKOMSTEN (Rules Religious and Instinct Lama). This term is used in Article 78 paragraph (2) Regeling Reglemen (RR);
DES INSTILLINGEN Volk (People's Institutions). This term is used in Article 128 paragraph (4) Indische Staats Regeling (IS);
MET HUNNE GODS GEWOONTEN SAMENHANGEN Dienten EN DE RECHTSREGELEN (Law Rules Related to Religions and their habits). This term is used in Article 131 paragraph (2) sub b Indische Staats Regeling (IS);
GODS DIENTIGE Wetten, Volks INSTILLINGEN EN GEBRUIKEN (Religious Regulations, institutions and habits of the People);
ADAT Recht (customary law), the term is used in Stb. No. 1929. Jo 221 487.
